Ours (Syera and I) was spent in the picture above (pardon the quality). Yes, we went for a swim. A lot of our neighbours participated as we can see one by one apartment turned dark. Looking up from the pool, we could see few heads popping out from windows chatting with loved ones, enjoying evening breeze and some just stood there by their windows staring into the night. A family of four and another young couple had their evening walk and enjoyed each other's company. It's not a 100% participation as we could see some of the apartments had their lights switched on, but hey, Malaysians ranked number 7 in the world as more than 250,000 people registered to participate and support Earth Hour. Our neighbouring flat took the extra mile by switching off all coridor lights. I wonder how much energy was spared tonight. So, how was your 60 minutes? |
